Specialty Classes

The Ice Skating School is proud to offer these specialty classes.

Stroking: high intensity, endurance building and strength conditioning on ice classes.  Class offered on Tuesday at 6:55pm and Saturday at 9:45am.

Off Ice Conditioning: Focuses on strength exercises, flexibility, and off ice jumping.  Class offered on Saturday at 10:35am.

Intro to Ice Dance: Learn how to twizzle, chasse, swing roll, and have strong body carriage.  Class offered on Monday at 6:20pm

Edge Class: The understanding of how to create a quality of edge on the ice is the most important basic foundation in ice skating.  Class offered on Tuesday at 5:45pm.

Synchronized Skating: The original form of group skating events. Synchronized skating stresses the importance of unison, the accuracy of formations and synchronization of the team, incorporated into a program. The objective is for the skaters to perform as one unit as opposed to individual soloists. Visit the Synchronized Skating Team section of the website.
